In the early days we used a one-shot 360 degree photography solution to offer clients virtual tours which were taken with a single shot. This had many advantages such as reducing the length of time required for the photoshoot to allowing us to be able to take 360 degree panoramic photographs in crowded scenes.

One special use case for the one shot system was during special events such as award presentations where the system was placed on the tables of the attendees and we were able to capture a 360 degree shot of everybody sat at the table using only one photograph.

A downside of the one shot system was that it could only capture 50 degrees up and down so not a full 360 x 180 degree virtual tour which you may have unwittingly seen already (think Google street view for example).
